1K a year We are looking for a Recovery Coach/Tech to join our team at Black Horse Acres and work with our residents as they progress with recovery! Black Horse Acres, a level three sober living home, is offering an entry level opportunity to work in a Recovery setting.
The schedule for this position is overnights.
Some of the job duties a Recovery Coach/Tech is tasked with include:
ensuring the safety of all residents and staff as well as visitors; assisting residents with their daily schedules; ensuring standards are in line with Residents Handbook; completing required documentation regarding residents; facilitating in-house meetings and transporting residents to outside meetings.
This position must maintain confidentiality of all residents' information and have the ability to make decisions, set boundaries with residents and follow facility's rules and guidelines with residents.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One year working with addiction population is preferred along with knowledge of Recovery.
- Applicants with 24 months of recovery and all others are encouraged to apply.

Specific Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Searching residents' bags and person at the time of the admission and following all intake procedures.
Orients new residents to the facility.
Instructs and confirms the programs rules and regulations to new admissions.
Assists in supervision of residents while completing hourly rounds to ensure safety and wellbeing.
Ensures daily schedule is adhered to.
Utilizes company vehicles for transportation of residents.
Conduct in house meetings and activities.
Completes and forwards copy of Incident Reports and any other safety/risk issues to supervisor.
Monitors and completes all urine drug screens as ordered.
Documents any behavioral issues in the resident's chart as needed.
Build positive relationships with residents and staff.
Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and residents.
Recognizes, responds to and assists in crisis situations and provide the intervention necessary.
Responds and assists in medical emergency situations as directed and needed.
Communicates effectively with residents and interdisciplinary team regarding resident's needs.
Assists with chart documentation and compliance.
Adheres to all program policies and procedures while ensuring residents safety at all times.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
