As an office assistant/counter sales at Great Railing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive outstanding service while assisting them in selecting the right products for their decking, railing, and fencing needs.
You will work directly with both homeowner and contractor customers, providing expert product knowledge, pricing, and guidance in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and passion for assisting customers will be key to your success in this role.
Key
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers at the counter and over the phone with a warm and friendly attitude.
Provide product recommendations and material take offs to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
Provide technical information regarding products as needed.
Process orders, quotes, and invoices accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized counter area and showroom.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Keep up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Operate point-of-sale systems and other relevant software.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills.
Knowledge of railing and fencing products is a bonus but not required.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
